Cuora Conservation Center

is based.

The main greenhouse complex consists of subtropical and tropical zones to provide the best climate for every species.  We simulate a climate that is very similar to the natural habitats, data that we gathered during our multiple field research projects.

Here the magic of breeding the some of the world rarest turtle species of the genus Cuora is happening. 

We keep every specimen strictly separated and only bring them together during the mating seasons. 

This gives us a better control for every single specimen and minimises the stress for the animals.
